Currently resides in The Netherlands, sometimes in Argentina or the UK.

Walking the streets of a great number of world-cities, there is a good chance you will come across one of the happy monsters of Bortusk leer. People can sometimes get trapped in the seriousness of life. It is the art of Bortusk that puts a smile on your face, most often when you least expect it and you're lucky enough encounter one of his monsters on the street. His art is packed with comedy, and so some have claimed that Bortusk is one of the pioneers of art-comedy. Next to spreading his art on the streets, he has enjoyed solo exhibitions all across the western hemisphere and Europe.

We are very proud to host the long awaited solo show of Bortusk Leer called "Cheer up you Bastards".
