Vault17 hosts Italian artist Francesco Messina at Bounce Space Amsterdam

Enjoy Francesco Messinas debut on the Amsterdam art scène from September 10th through November 5th

AMSTERDAM September 16th  – An extraordinary selection of work by Italian artist Francesco Messina (b.  Catania,1979),  at Bounce Space Amsterdam. Encompassing 7 works, the exhibition showcases Messina’s recent graphic work for the first time in the Netherlands.

Originally trained as a painting-restorer, and teaching designer courses in Sicily, his constant passion for painting helped thrust his move to Milan to pursue an artistic career. With a keen eye for pictorial movements overseas, his work is a response to the reality of the everyday chaos that creates the world.

About the BounceSpace
In cooperation with BounceSpace, Vault17 organizes solo exhibitions every 2 months at the concept store/ co-working space “BounceSpace” at Overtoom 141. The exhibitions are curated in style with the shops where “ Modern Craftsmanship” is the central theme. Enjoying art while the Baristas of Lot Sixty One serve you a beautiful cappuccino, the hairdressers of Bubblekid provide you with a new coupe, or while your bike is being repaired in the Fietskantine. Above its concept store BounceSpace provides flexible workspaces for freelancers and startups. This makes for a vivacious community that offers continuous inspiration. Vault17 believes this community of creative individuals and cross-pollination will offer the artist a springboard towards the next step in their creative career.
